Great Things Happen Here!

Our unofficial motto at SKI Academy is: Great Things Happen Here!  We see this everyday.  Students learning in the classroom, engaging in many of our co and extra-curricular activities, even extending learning beyond the classroom in our After School Program.

We try to include parents in many of our exciting events throughout the year as well.

This is our ‘media’ splash page.  In this brief slideshow, the aim is to show you in a series of photos, what a school year looks like at SKI.

To take a deep dive into each of our activities, you can click the link below the slideshow and access albums for each of our school events, along with many videos that have been made throughout the year.

Check back often because…. GREAT THINGS HAPPEN HERE!

Football Season

What a truly special first year for our football team! This is the first time since Covid that we had enough players to form a team. Our young athletes, mostly third and fourth graders, played with unwavering determination and heart at every game. They demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship and remarkable teamwork, showing us all what it means to play the game with passion and respect. A huge shout-out to Coach Garth and Coach Burke for their dedication and hard work in guiding these young players. Their leadership and support have made all the difference. And of course, a big thank you to all the parents for their continued support, cheering on the team and making this season a success both on and off the field. Way to go SKI Rockets!

Pink-tober at SKI

Pinktober at SKI Academy was a huge success this year! The Student Council organized weekly fundraisers, encouraging students to wear pink every Friday to raise funds for Essence of Hope. With amazing support from our parents, we also created a human breast cancer ribbon as a visual show of solidarity. Together, our school community raised over $1,800—the most we’ve ever collected! We were also fortunate to have Dr. Joylette Woodley visit and speak to students about the importance of early breast cancer detection. It was a meaningful and impactful month, highlighting the power of community and raising awareness for an important cause.
